Writers for the VoGue Vision for Justice Blog are staff and members of the VoGue sponsoring organizations. Posts will highlight efforts of these advocacy groups, especially in Texas, or will address specific issues of interest and concern to advocates for criminal justice and prison reform in Texas. Posts should not only describe problems but offer suggestions for solution. Without offering well-thought out solutions, we are simply part of the problem.
The VoGue Vision for Justice Blog welcomes your contributed posts. Topics can include stories of specific family impacts from the system, human rights violations, social justice issues related to prison and criminal justice, legislative issues and political how-to's. Blog posts of 500 words or less are preferred. Longer articles may be pitched to VoGue staff in advance. Posts will be edited for length and/or clarity, as necessary, by VoGue staff. If you cite online sources, include valid links. Please submit blog posts to info3@texas-vogue.com with Vision for Justice in the subject line. Include some detail of your affiliation with at least one of the sponsoring organizations and a bio tagline of 100 words or less. We will acknowledge receipt of contributions quickly but may not announce acceptance/rejection or assign a publication date for up to one month after receipt.
